Program
The normal route to Punta Giordani is one of the most accessible climbs on glacier. Ideal as the fist experience in high-altitude.

Vertical gain: 770m
Climbing time: 4-5h
Meeting point: Gressoney, equipment check-up and short briefing.
After taking the ski-lift to Punta Indren the ascent starts by crossing with crampons and ropes the Indren glacier. After some steep slopes, the last meters are to be done by climbing on rocks before arriving to the Small statue of the Virgin on the summit.
To return we will follow the same itinerary.

- wool hat or in fleece fabric on the inside
- buff (neck tubular)
- mountaineering socks (2 pairs)
- sun cap
- undershirt
- gaiters
- windbreaker jacket (Gore-tex fabric)
- 1 pair of light gloves
- 1 pair of warm gloves
- mountaineering sweater
- mountaineering/glacier sunglasses
